Note:  These ordinances were put on the Internet for use by Apartment Owners.   Owners of other property types must refer to the book of Cook County Building and Environment Ordinance for information on their building types.      This site makes no money and has no affiliation with the publisher.   The site was developed because as an apartment owner, I found it impossible to obtain any information from the Cook County Zoning Department and Cook County refused to put the ordinances on the internet where apartment owners could look up the ordinances and repair their buildings BEFORE the inspector violated them.   That is why thissite does not document every Article and if the owner needs this information - it may be necessary to purchase the book.      This book can be purchased at:
